Alaska Trip Recap

In August we traveled to Alaska before returning home to Okinawa. The trip was great and Alaska is even better than all of the John Denver songs make it out to be. Below is the much-abbreviated picture book summary of our trip. For a detailed copy of the trip manuscript, please send $100 + $15 S+H to our Swiss bank account...

Eagle River Nature Center Hike

Winner Creek Hike

Panning for Gold
We went looking for gold, but all we found was McCall's crack.

Exit Glacier Hike
I didn't include the last picture of myself just because I am really, really, really, really good looking. The sign I am standing at is where the terminus of the glacier was located in 1998. Yes, Holly and I have been married long enough to measure time in terms of Global Warming.

Tonsina Point Hike

Glacier Cruise Aboard the Alaskan Explorer

You have too much time on your hands while you are away from Holly, Jason. It looks like you were needing some comments since you started us all out with one yourself so here you go. (even though you never comment on mine...not as exciting as yours!) Alaska looks awesome (Holly always does). Glad you all took the opportunity to visit there on your way back to our island. At least Juniper's hat was put to use with the colder weather before she out grew it.
