McCall's Fourth B-Day

This week McCall celebrated her 4th birthday. However, before we delve in to all of the fun, we posted some pics of Juniper transitioning into daily life in the Dalpias household...

McCall's actual B-Day was on Monday and we celebrated with some family presents, birthday dinner and cake....

Birthday Dinner

For her birthday we let McCall pick the menu. She chose broccoli, grapes and toast because, in her words, "those are my favorite things."

Birthday Dessert

After her B-day dinner, McCall was treated to a birthday song serenade and a little cake with candles.

Our small birthday celebration on Monday was just a small warmup for her birthday party bash on Friday. 6 months of anticipation + 12 little girls + games + presents + cake + ice cream = ONE AWESOME PARTY!!!

Princess Games

The games included intense versions of Cinderella's Glass Slipper, Snow White's Poison Apple, Princess Dance and Freeze and a Fairy Cupcake Walk.

Made in Japan (with American parts)

Although Toyota may have recently struggled with defective manufacturing, there will be no recalls on this baby! Juniper Ruby Dalpias demonstrates the excellent craftsmanship of products made in Japan...

At the Hospital
Juniper was born at the luxurious U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan. The hospital was built in 1958 and a new one is currently under construction. We are very grateful for this old hospital and the fact that it didn't collapse during the earthquake.

At Home

Most of Juinper's first week home was spent sleeping or yawning. However, we were able to take a few pictures of her during the 1 or 2 hours that she was awake each day.

At the Park

On Saturday, we celebrated Juniper's one week birthday by taking her on her first park outing. The picture above shows what Juniper did the whole time.
