One of the aspects we have most enjoyed about our home here on Oki is our backyard jungle. When we first moved here, tales of poisonous snakes (habu), large golden-orb spiders, centipedes, etc. prevented us from allowing the kids to wander in the jungle. Well now after almost four years, we are either more brave or less intelligent, because now Denver and McCall roam freely through the jungle like feral cats. About a year and half ago Denver and some friends blazed a trail to the top of the jungle. A few weeks ago, he dragged his father up there and I was rewarded with an excellent view....
