Our Home

We moved in to our new home in September.  For all of our far-away friends who haven't been able to come and visit us yet, below are more photos of our home than you would care to look at.  The first picture below is the Christmas card that started all of this madness:

Holly vs. Skyline Mountain Marathon

This is Jason sneaking in a post to brag about Holly's awesome performance today in the Skyline Mountain Marathon (http://skylinemarathon.com/).  Holly placed second among the women with an amazing time of 4hrs 54 mins and 38 secs.  I don't have much time before she catches me, but here are some pics:

Mochi Making

Back in January one of the Japanese congregations of our same faith, hosted a mochi making party.  The first New Years that we were here we also attended a mochi-making party.  See the archives at http://dalpiasfamily.blogspot.jp/2009/01/mochitsuki-and-wago-land.html if you want more details about mochi.  We have really grown to love mochi over the years and we had a great time making it again...
