Stop One: Sashi's Japanese Antique shop near Motobu. The word is that the owner built the entire place by hand and they have the island's largest variety of Shisa statues. -
Stop Two: Churaumi Aquarium. This is the second time we have visited the aquarium which happens to be the second largest aquarium in the world (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okinawa_Churaumi_Aquarium). -

you guys are so adventuresome...i love it! i'm sorry to hear about your "arctic" temps, but yeah, we don't really feel too bad for you with our -20 degrees over here.
anyway, were you there in hawaii when we told the story of when we were snorkeling and the blowfish was coming right at travis with his mouth open wide, ready to eat travis. well, actually ready to eat the peas that travis had in front of him. but, travis claims the fish was attacking. we were giggling our heads off because the picture you took was the exact scene travis saw before he inhaled sea water through his mask, screamed like a little girl, and swam away as fast as he could.
oh brother.
I Love the picture of McCall laying on the bricks with the aquarium in the background. Let me guess, Jason took that shot, since his part time job is the assistant to the assistant photographer. You totally deserve a promotion and raise. Good work!!!
It's way cool that you got away for a day to celebrate Michael Lawrence Kendell. I thought you guys were still at odds since he called you Jason Dollhouse in elementary school. Oops, maybe you're referring to Martin Luther King, but I didn't know he had any Japanese ancestors. I hope the racial police don't close your blog for your abbreviation. It is only an "i" away from being milk. We all know that milk, whether it be cow's milk or soy milk, is as white as the falling snow.
